Nokia Launches Bounce Boing Battle For Some Reason

Nokia is on a gaming streak this week at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, Nevada -- we already found out about Climate Mission and the awesome looking Ovi Maps Racing. Unfortunately, they weren’t done with their announcements, and have also let loose with another game, dubbed Bounce Boing Battle.
So, what exactly is Bounce Boing Battle? It’s a multiplayer pong that you play on your touchscreen-equipped Symbian-powered smartphone, basically. You play by drawing angled lines at just the right moment to bounce the ball back at your opponent. The game is supposed to be challenging because you don’t get to see what angle your opponent sent the ball back to you.
And that’s it. There’s a video below, if you’re still confused. Bounce Boing Battle should be available for free from the Ovi Store shortly, if you’re actually interested.
On a completely personal note, it amazes me that the same company can come up with something as cool looking as Ovi Maps Racing and also come up with something like Bounce Boing Battle.
